.DISCUSSION...
No hazardous fire weather concerns are expected at this time.
Relative humidity values remain outside of critical thresholds.
Widespread showers and thunderstorms expected to occur across
north Georgia through Sunday as a front stalls across the region.
Some areas could receive heavy rainfall leading to localized
flash flooding concerns. Rainfall coverage will be sparser across
central Georgia through Sunday. The start of next week will see
sparse shower and thunderstorm coverage across all of north and
central Georgia.
Minimum relative humidity values will range from 40-55 percent in
central Georgia each day and 60-80 percent in north Georgia
through Sunday. Lower relative humidity values of 40 to
50 percent in central Georgia and 50 to 60 percent in north
Georgia are expected at the start of next week. Winds will be
largely SW to W at 3-6 mph on Friday and WNW at 5 to 10 mph on
Saturday.
