No hazardous fire weather concerns are expected at this time.
Relative humidity values remain outside of critical thresholds.
Hot and humid conditions persist through Monday. A Heat Advisory
is in effect for central and east Georgia until 8 PM Sunday for
heat indices between 105 and 108 degrees each afternoon
(excluding the far northeast mountains). Minimum RH values are
forecast to be at or above 40% tomorrow afternoon. NW winds at
less than 10 MPH through Monday.
While thunderstorms stay in the forecast for all fire zones each
afternoon, coverage is likely to be more limited on Sunday and
Monday (less than 25-30%). With any storms, gusty erratic winds
and a quick 1-2" of rainfall in a short period remain possible.
