No hazardous fire weather concerns are expected at this time.
Relative humidity values remain outside of critical thresholds.
A Heat Advisory is in effect for parts of central Georgia until
8 PM today, where conditions are especially hot and humid. We are
expecting that drier air will settle across north and central
Georgia tomorrow (Wednesday), with minimum relative humidity
ranging from around 30% to 45% (compared to today`s 40% to 55%).
The potential for precipitation at all of the fire zones is very
low (less than 5%) both today and tomorrow. 20-foot winds will
generally be west-northwest to northwest at 5-10 mph today, then
become lighter (generally less than 7 mph) out of the
north-northwest to north-northeast tomorrow. While transport
winds will be relatively weak both days, vigorous afternoon
mixing should allow for good smoke dispersal.
