.DISCUSSION...
Relative humidity values will remain above critical thresholds
with precipitation returning for some by Sunday.
Cooler today with increased in cloud coverage. Min RH values will
be near 35-40 percent this afternoon, and remain on the dry side
during the overnight hours, as recoveries struggle to make it
back to 60% in the northern zones. Mixing heights will reach
2-3kft in the north mountains and 3-4kft in all other zones.
Surface and 20ft winds increase out of the E this afternoon,
sustained at 10 to 15mph with gusts of 20 to 25 mph. Winds likely
remain elevated on Sunday with scattered showers Sunday morning
into the afternoon, mostly for western GA. Less than a quarter
inch of rainfall is expected, with some zones seeing only a trace
or less in eastern Georgia.
