.DISCUSSION...
No hazardous fire weather conditions are expected at this time.
While some moisture will make its way back to central Georgia, RHs
will still fall into the 30s and 40s across much of the area this
afternoon. Cloud cover will be mostly higher cirrus or cirrostratus,
but may be thick enough to block some solar heating this afternoon,
especially during the morning hours. Repeated days of low humidity
have dried fuels, with 10 hour fuels falling to 6-8%. Winds will be
much lighter this afternoon compared to previous days, with more
variable direction that will be heavily influenced by local
vegetation and terrain. Transport winds will be a bit variable by
location as well, but generally 5-12 mph. Mixing heights will rise
to 5-6 kft. Vent rates will be a bit limited by transport winds, so
ADI values are relatively low in many locations.
