.DISCUSSION...
No hazardous fire weather conditions are expected at this time.
Winds and relative humidity values will remain outside of critical
thresholds.
Rain chances are forecast to remain below 15 percent across the area
through this afternoon and tonight. Minimum RH values this afternoon
are expected to range from 50-60 percent across the majority of the
area. Winds will be NE at 5-10 mph with occasional gusts between 12-
18 mph during the afternoon. Mixing heights this afternoon will peak
between 4-6 kft. Scattered pop-up showers and thunderstorms will be
possible in the eastern half of Georgia on Monday as TD9 draws
closer to the Georgia coast. With ample moisture across the area,
minimum RH values will range from 60-80 percent across all but far
northwest Georgia (which will be slightly drier). Winds on Monday
will remain NE, increasing to 7-12 mph in the afternoon with gusts
between 15-25 mph. These gusts will be highest across the eastern
portions of the state. Mixing heights on Monday will be limited to 2-
3 kft to the south of I-85 where greater cloud cover is expected,
and should peak between 3-5 kft along and north of I-85.
