.DISCUSSION...
No hazardous fire weather concerns are expected at this time.
Relative humidity values remain outside of critical thresholds.
Very hot and humid conditions will be in place through the
afternoon across all fire zones. A Heat Advisory remains in
effect until 8 PM this evening for all of north and central
Georgia, outside of the higher elevations of northeast Georgia.
Minimum relative humidity is expected to be at or above around
40% both today and tomorrow (Tuesday).
A line/cluster of storms is increasingly probable across north
Georgia this evening and potentially into the early overnight
hours. Hazards will include gusty/erratic winds, heavy rainfall
(as much as 1-2 inches in a short period), and frequent
cloud-to-ground lightning. The potential for showers and storms
is very low tomorrow, as relatively drier air moves into the
area. A slight surface wind shift from out of the west today to
out of the west- northwest to northwest tomorrow is expected.
