.DISCUSSION...
Cloudy, cool, and rain free conditions expected today. Looking at
low ceilings and poor mixing heights this morning, which will
gradually improve to fair during the day. Winds will be out of the
southeast, with the ridge line creating some sheltering for any
lower elevation areas at the burn site. Ridge top winds around
8-11 mph with gusts to 20 mph, while lower elevations have winds
4-7 mph or less. Min RH values will only get down into the lower
70s this afternoon with the continued cloud cover. Winds lighten
Tuesday night, with ceilings and mixing heights dropping again.
On Wednesday, starting out with light winds, poor mixing heights,
and potential low ceilings and clouds around. Winds turn a bit
more southerly but remain fairly light throughout the day. Ridge
top winds 4-7 mph with gusts to 15 mph, while lower elevation
spots remain sheltered with winds of 5 mph or less. Min RH values
will fall to around 50 percent during the afternoon, with improved
ceilings and fair mixing heights.
