.DISCUSSION...

A deck of low clouds (~500-900ft) is approaching the site at the
time of writing of this discussion, which should begin to
appreciably scatter and lift by 11-11:30AM. Best rain chances today
are well to the south of the Athens area. Rain chances will be
less than 10% through 1PM, increasing to 15-20% between 2-6PM. A
brief, isolated shower/thunderstorm is possible, but forecast
rainfall totals are less than 0.05" across the county today with a
high likelihood of remaining totally dry. Surface winds will
remain light (5MPH or less) out of the south to southwest.
