.DISCUSSION...

The next frontal system will push into the lower to mid MS river
valley Tonight with precipitation knocking on NW Georgia`s doorstep
shortly after sunrise Fri. Warm moist SW flow sets up ahead of this
frontal boundary which will also help increase those daytime highs
Friday. You may see some light showers overnight tonight but the
main frontal boundary will push stronger showers into your area around
Mid day Friday. You should mainly see showers and isolated
thunderstorms with this system along with some gusty winds
associated with the front and any stronger storms. Not expecting
any severe weather. Winds will be mainly out of the SW Friday
turning more Westerly Friday night then to the NW Saturday. Will
see wind speeds in the 3-7mph range Friday morning with speeds
increasing Friday afternoon into the 5-10mph range. Will also see
some higher gust (15-20mph) Fri afternoon through Friday night as
the front moves through. Winds stay elevated through Saturday out
of the W to NW.
