.DISCUSSION...

Good morning!

Low clouds blanket much of the area this morning including the
wildfire site and are expected to stick around through at least
10-11am. Fog is not expected. A cold front currently situated
across Middle TN will push through North GA (and the burn site),
late this morning (10-11am) shifting SW to W winds to the
NW and clearing skies. Winds are expected to pick up over the next
hour or two from 4-6 MPH to 6-12 MPH with isolated gusts up to 18
MPH associated with and behind the front. Transport winds will
follow suit though shifting more to the N. No precipitation is
expected with this front. Conditions will quickly dry out
following the front with RH values dropping to 28-35% between
1-5PM. RH values are likely to drop well below critical
thresholds (<25%) on Monday. Please let us know if you need any
additional information or have any additional concerns.
