...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of east central Putnam,
Hancock and south central Greene Counties through 800 PM EDT...

At 736 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was near Shoulderbone, or near
Sparta. This storm was nearly stationary.

HAZARD...Winds up to 40 mph and heavy rain.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of
         light, unsecured objects. Heavy rain may cause temporary
         street flooding especially in poor drainage areas.

Locations impacted include...
Sparta, Reynolds at Lake Oconee, Liberty, Springfield, Rockville,
Powelton, Devereux, Shoulderbone, Oconee Springs Park, and Culverton.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People outdoors should seek shelter immediately. Motorists should
slow down and be prepared for possible loss of control due to
hydroplaning.
