...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of central Muscogee and
central Chattahoochee Counties through 1115 PM EDT...

At 1048 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was over Vista Terrace, or 7
miles east of Columbus, moving southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Up to 40 mph wind, pea sized hail and frequent cloud to
         ground lightning.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of
         light, unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
North Fort Moore, Saint Marys Hills, Edgewood, Highland Park,
Kenwood, Sand Hill, Eelbeck/West Fort Moore, and Vista Terrace.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People outdoors should seek shelter immediately. If you can hear
thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
