...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of eastern Rockdale,
northwestern Oconee, Barrow, northeastern Gwinnett, southwestern
Banks, east central Henry, Walton, central Hall, central Jackson and
Newton Counties through 930 AM EST...

At 902 AM EST, a line of strong thunderstorms was along a line
extending from near Murrayville to near Big Haynes Creek Park to near
Flippen, and moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...40 mph wind and heavy rain.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of
         light, unsecured objects. Heavy rain may cause temporary
         street flooding especially in poor drainage areas.

Gainesville, Conyers, Winder, Monroe, Covington, Jefferson, Homer,
Loganville, Braselton, Auburn, Flowery Branch, Dacula, Social Circle,
Oakwood, Lula, Statham, Oxford, Maysville, Arcade, and Porterdale.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People outdoors should seek shelter immediately. Motorists should
slow down and be prepared for possible loss of control due to
hydroplaning.
