PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Safety message - Turn around, don`t drown. Don`t travel through
flooded areas. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Buffalo River near Dilworth.

* WHEN...Until Monday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 15.8 feet, Road west of gage begins to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:00 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 15.7 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 10:00 AM CDT Wednesday was 15.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 15.8
    feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
    flood stage late this week.
  - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

  - At 9:45 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 13.9 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:45 AM CDT Wednesday was 14.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    tomorrow afternoon and continue falling.
  - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
