.DISCUSSION...

RH values should be higher as a result of southerly flow bringing
better low level moisture into the region, along with several
periods of showers and thunderstorms. Winds will tend to prevail in
the 10 to 20 mph range today into tonight with southerly winds
shifting to the west behind the front as it passes later today.
Breezy northwest winds can be expected Tuesday, with periodic gusts
around 30 mph.

This morning most rain and thunderstorm activity will tend to be in
the Devils Lake Basin with this activity slowly moving east and
weakening through the morning hours. Locally heavy rainfall and
frequent lightning activity will be threats with the storms early
this morning. Additional thunderstorms are expected to develop along
a front later this afternoon and evening with increasing chances
through the late evening and overnight hours across eastern and
northwest Minnesota. Some of these thunderstorms could be severe
with large hail and damaging winds.
