...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

.DISCUSSION...

North to northeast winds around 10 mph will pick up
around mid-morning and become more due northerly. Sustained speeds
will increase to 25 to 30 mph with gusts to around 40 mph by late
morning and afternoon. Showers and a few isolated thunderstorms on
and off will become more steady rain by mid-day, then back to
showers in the later afternoon. Temperatures will continue their
downward trend with the passage of the cold front, with highs
today only around 60 degrees. Afternoon RH values will be around
65 percent. Decrease winds and much cooler heading into tonight,
with a chance for frost.

                    sunny (60-70 percent). Scattered thunderstorms
                    in the morning. Rain showers through the day.
