Satellite imagery also helped in adjusting the width to around a quarter mile and assisted in approximating the start and end points. .Enderlin Tornado #2... Rating: EF2 Estimated Peak Wind: 120 mph Path Length /statute/: 6.82 miles Path Width /maximum/: 400 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: 06/20/2025 Start Time: 11:22 PM CDT Start Location: 5 NE Enderlin / Cass County / ND Start Lat/Lon: 46.6703 / -97.5251 End Date: 06/20/2025 End Time: 11:34 PM CDT End Location: 5 ENE Sheldon / Ransom County / ND End Lat/Lon: 46.6236 / -97.4042 Survey Summary: A second tornado developed from the same supercell thunderstorm about 4 miles northeast of Enderlin and tracked to the southeast, crossed Highway 46, and then weakened and dissipated. This tornado was on the ground for around 7 miles, at its widest was about a quarter mile wide. Damage indicators along the path of this tornado correlates to EF-2 damage, with peak winds estimated to be around 120 mph. Along the path of this tornado was extensive tree damage, including trees snapped and uprooted. Several roofs were partially blown apart as well as crop damage visible from high resolution satellite data. && EF Scale: The Enhanced Fujita Scale classifies tornadoes into the following categories: EF0.....65 to 85 mph EF1.....86 to 110 mph EF2.....111 to 135 mph EF3.....136 to 165 mph EF4.....166 to 200 mph EF5.....>200 mph NOTE: The information in this statement is preliminary and subject to change pending final review of the event and publication in NWS Storm Data. $$
