waves that occur in a given period. Since the significant wave
height is an average of the largest waves, mariners should be
aware that many individual waves will be higher.

For Devils Lake...

.TONIGHT...Breezy. Southeast winds 15 to 25 mph shifting to the
south 10 to 15 mph early in the morning. Waves 1 to 2 feet.
Slight chance of thunderstorms until early morning. Showers
likely through the night. Mostly cloudy. Lows in the lower 60s.
.SATURDAY...Windy. West winds 10 to 20 mph increasing to
northwest 20 to 30 mph in the late morning and afternoon. Waves
1 to 2 feet. Mostly cloudy. Highs in the 70s.
.SATURDAY NIGHT...Northwest winds 10 to 20 mph. Waves 1 to 2 feet
subsiding to 1 foot or less after midnight. Mostly cloudy in the
evening then clearing. Lows in the mid 50s.


For the Upper and Lower Red Lakes...

.TONIGHT...Breezy. Southeast winds 15 to 25 mph. Waves 1 to
3 feet. Chance of showers until early morning. Mostly cloudy.
Lows in the lower 60s.
.SATURDAY...Southwest winds 10 to 20 mph shifting to the west
10 to 15 mph late in the afternoon. Waves 1 to 2 feet subsiding
to 1 foot or less in the afternoon. Slight chance of
thunderstorms early in the morning. Showers likely through the
day. Slight chance of thunderstorms late in the afternoon. Mostly
cloudy. Highs 65 to 75.
