waves that occur in a given period. Since the significant wave
height is an average of the largest waves, mariners should be
aware that many individual waves will be higher.

For Devils Lake...

.REST OF TONIGHT...Northwest winds 10 to 20 mph. Waves 1 foot or
less. Partly cloudy. Lows 46 to 51.
.THURSDAY...Light winds becoming south 10 to 15 mph in the late
morning and afternoon. Waves 1 foot or less. Mostly sunny. Highs
65 to 75.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...Southeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Waves 1 foot or
less. Mostly cloudy. Lows in the mid 50s.


For the Upper and Lower Red Lakes...

.REST OF TONIGHT...North winds 10 to 20 mph. Waves 1 to 2 feet.
Partly cloudy. Lows in the mid 50s.
.THURSDAY...Light winds. Waves 1 foot or less. Sunny. Highs 65 to
75.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...Light winds becoming south around 10 mph in the
late evening and overnight. Waves 1 foot or less. Partly cloudy
in the evening then becoming mostly cloudy. Lows in the upper
50s.


For Lake of the Woods...

.REST OF TONIGHT...Breezy. Northwest winds 15 to 25 mph. Waves
1 to 2 feet. Partly cloudy. Lows in the mid 50s.

the 60s.
