Wave height forecasts represent the average of the highest 33% of
waves that occur in a given period. Since the significant wave
height is an average of the largest waves, mariners should be
aware that many individual waves will be higher.

For Devils Lake...

.TODAY...Light winds becoming northwest around 10 mph late in the
morning, then shifting to the southwest in the afternoon. Waves
1 foot or less. Slight chance of showers in the morning. Slight
chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon. Partly cloudy. Highs
75 to 85.
.TONIGHT...Light winds becoming south around 10 mph in the late
evening and overnight. Waves 1 foot or less. Mostly clear. Lows
in the mid 50s.
.SATURDAY...Windy. South winds 10 to 20 mph increasing to
southeast 20 to 30 mph in the afternoon. Waves 1 foot or less
building to 2 to 4 feet in the afternoon. Sunny. Highs in the
80s.


For the Upper and Lower Red Lakes...

.TODAY...Light winds becoming northwest around 10 mph in the late
morning and afternoon. Waves 1 foot or less. Patchy fog early in
the morning. Partly cloudy. Highs 65 to 75.
.TONIGHT...Northwest winds around 10 mph early in the evening
becoming light. Waves 1 foot or less. Mostly clear. Lows in the
upper 50s.
.SATURDAY...Light winds. Waves less than 1 foot. Sunny. Highs in
the 70s.


For Lake of the Woods...

.TODAY...Northwest winds around 10 mph early in the morning
becoming light, then becoming northwest around 10 mph in the
afternoon. Waves 1 foot or less. Partly cloudy. Highs 65 to 75.
.TONIGHT...Light winds. Waves 1 foot or less. Mostly clear. Lows
in the lower 50s.
.SATURDAY...Light winds becoming east around 10 mph in the
afternoon. Waves 1 foot or less. Sunny. Highs in the 70s.
