waves that occur in a given period. Since the significant wave
height is an average of the largest waves, mariners should be
aware that many individual waves will be higher.

For Devils Lake...

.TODAY...Windy. West winds 10 to 20 mph increasing to 20 to
30 mph in the late morning and afternoon. Waves 1 foot or less
building to 1 to 2 feet. Partly cloudy early in the morning then
clearing. Highs in the 40s.
.TONIGHT...Southwest winds 10 to 15 mph. Waves 1 foot or less.
Mostly clear in the evening then becoming mostly cloudy. Lows in
the lower 30s.
.SUNDAY...Southwest winds 10 to 15 mph. Waves 1 foot or less.
Mostly sunny. Highs 45 to 55.


For the Upper and Lower Red Lakes...

.TODAY...Southwest winds 10 to 15 mph shifting to the west 10 to
20 mph in the late morning and afternoon. Waves 1 foot or less.
Slight chance of drizzle early in the morning. Mostly cloudy
early in the morning then clearing. Highs 35 to 45.
.TONIGHT...West winds 10 to 20 mph. Waves 1 foot or less. Mostly
clear. Lows in the lower 30s.
.SUNDAY...Southwest winds around 10 mph. Waves 1 foot or less.
Partly sunny. Highs in the 40s.


For Lake of the Woods...

.TODAY...Breezy. Southwest winds 10 to 20 mph shifting to the
west 15 to 25 mph in the late morning and afternoon. Waves 1 foot
or less building to 1 to 2 feet in the afternoon. Chance of light
freezing drizzle early in the morning. Slight chance of drizzle
early in the morning. Slight chance of light freezing drizzle
early in the morning. Cloudy early in the morning then clearing.
