Wave height forecasts represent the average of the highest 33% of
waves that occur in a given period. Since the significant wave
height is an average of the largest waves, mariners should be
aware that many individual waves will be higher.

For Devils Lake...

.TODAY...North winds 10 to 20 mph. Waves 1 foot or less. Partly
cloudy early in the morning then becoming partly sunny. Highs
65 to 75.
.TONIGHT...Windy. North winds 10 to 20 mph increasing to 20 to
30 mph early in the morning. Waves 1 foot or less building to
1 to 2 feet after midnight. Slight chance of showers early in the
evening. Areas of smoke through the night. Mostly cloudy in the
evening then becoming partly cloudy. Lows in the mid 40s.
.WEDNESDAY...Windy. North winds 20 to 30 mph. Waves 3 to 5 feet.
Mostly sunny. Highs in the 50s.


For the Upper and Lower Red Lakes...

.TODAY...South winds around 10 mph shifting to the northwest
10 to 20 mph. Waves 1 foot or less. Slight chance of
thunderstorms early in the morning. Chance of showers through the
day. Chance of thunderstorms in the late morning and afternoon.
Mostly cloudy. Highs 65 to 75.
.TONIGHT...North winds 10 to 20 mph. Waves 1 to 2 feet. Slight
chance of showers in the late evening and overnight. Mostly
cloudy. Lows in the upper 40s.
.WEDNESDAY...North winds 15 to 20 mph. Waves 1 to 2 feet. Chance
of showers in the late morning and early afternoon. Mostly

For Lake of the Woods...

northwest 15 to 25 mph in the late morning and afternoon. Waves

the morning then becoming mostly cloudy. Highs in the 60s.
