waves that occur in a given period. Since the significant wave
height is an average of the largest waves, mariners should be
aware that many individual waves will be higher.

For Devils Lake...

.TONIGHT...Northwest winds around 10 mph shifting to the east
after midnight. Waves 1 foot or less. Clear. Lows in the lower
40s.
.WEDNESDAY...Southeast winds 10 to 20 mph. Waves 1 foot or less.
Mostly sunny in the morning then becoming mostly cloudy. Highs
55 to 65.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...East winds around 10 mph shifting to the north
in the late evening and overnight. Waves 1 foot or less. Mostly
cloudy. Lows in the upper 40s.


For the Upper and Lower Red Lakes...

.TONIGHT...North winds 10 to 20 mph. Waves 1 to 2 feet subsiding
to 1 foot or less after midnight. Mostly clear. Lows in the mid
40s.
.WEDNESDAY...Southeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Waves 1 foot or less.
Sunny in the morning then becoming mostly cloudy. Highs in the
60s.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...South winds 10 to 15 mph shifting to the
northwest early in the morning. Waves 1 foot or less. Chance of
showers through the night. Mostly cloudy. Lows in the mid 50s.

.TONIGHT...Windy. Northwest winds 20 to 30 mph becoming north
10 to 20 mph after midnight. Waves 2 to 4 feet. Mostly clear.
