waves that occur in a given period. Since the significant wave
height is an average of the largest waves, mariners should be
aware that many individual waves will be higher.

For Devils Lake...

.TONIGHT...North winds 10 to 15 mph. Waves 1 foot or less. Slight
chance of thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy in the evening then
becoming partly cloudy. Lows in the lower 60s.
.FRIDAY...Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Waves 1 foot or less.
Sunny. Highs 75 to 85.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...Southeast winds around 10 mph. Waves 1 foot or
less. Mostly clear. Lows in the lower 60s.


For the Upper and Lower Red Lakes...

.TONIGHT...North winds around 10 mph. Waves 1 foot or less.
Chance of thunderstorms in the evening. Showers likely through
the night. Mostly cloudy. Lows in the mid 60s.
.FRIDAY...North winds 10 to 15 mph. Waves 1 foot or less. Mostly
sunny. Highs in the 70s.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...North winds around 10 mph. Waves 1 foot or less.
Clear. Lows in the lower 60s.


For Lake of the Woods...

.TONIGHT...Southwest winds around 10 mph shifting to the north
early in the morning. Waves 1 foot or less. Slight chance of
thunderstorms in the evening. Mostly cloudy. Lows in the mid 60s.
