.SYNOPSIS...Look for mild temperatures, dry conditions and
occasional afternoon breezes into the weekend. Despite the dry
forecast, serious flooding continues in spots. Stay away from
waterways and if you come to a flooded road, turn around, don`t
drown.

.DISCUSSION...A dry flow aloft will set up over northern Arizona
over the coming week, a blessed relief from TOO much rain over
the past few days.

The remainder of today through Tuesday...A weak high pressure
system will move across Arizona. As a result, look for light and
variable winds, a bit warmer temperatures and generally clear
skies. Even so, use caution when driving as many low water
crossings will still be flooded or otherwise inundated with water.

On Wednesday and Thursday...A weak and dry shortwave trough will
brush the area. Not much impact with this system except for a
slight dip in high temperatures, variable high clouds and locally
gusty west to northwest winds at 5-15 mph gusting to around 25
mph. Those higher gust will be located over the mountain areas
from over the White Mountains and Mogollon Rim to the New Mexico
border.

From Friday into Monday...High pressure will build over the
southwest states with warming daytime temperatures and surface
pressure gradients that will favor north to northeast breezes at
10-20 mph. But perhaps the most important message, continued dry.

Beyond Monday...Chances for showers return but at this time look
likes a minimal threat compared to our most recent experience.

with VRB winds 5-10 kts.

OUTLOOK...Wednesday 04/00Z through Friday 06/00Z...VFR conditions.
Winds W/NW 5-15 kts on Wednesday, becoming N/NE 5-10 kts on Thursday.

.FIRE WEATHER...Tuesday and Wednesday..Look for dry conditions and
seasonable temperatures. Light and variable winds 5-10 mph on
Tuesday. Wednesday will see west to northwest at 5-15 mph with
afternoon gusts of 20-30 mph over the higher terrain from the
Mogollon Rim northward.

Thursday through Saturday...Dry weather and mild temperatures are
forecast. Light and variable winds on Thursday will become north to
northeast at at 5-15 mph on Friday and Saturday. Local gusts to 25
mph along and south of the Mogollon Rim Thursday and Friday.
