...FLOOD WATCH HAS EXPIRED...

The Flood Watch has expired for portions of north central and
northeast Arizona, including the following areas, in north central
Arizona, Black Mesa Area, Coconino Plateau, Grand Canyon Country,
Kaibab Plateau, Little Colorado River Valley in Coconino County,
Marble and Glen Canyons, Northeast Plateaus and Mesas Hwy 264
Northward, Northeast Plateaus and Mesas South of Hwy 264 and Western
Mogollon Rim. In northeast Arizona, Chinle Valley, Chuska Mountains
and Defiance Plateau, Little Colorado River Valley in Apache County
and Little Colorado River Valley in Navajo County.

The threat for numerous flash flooding is decreasing. Therefore, the
Flood Watch has expired. Isolated flash flooding will be possible if
any locally heavy showers or thunderstorms develop. Also,  mainstem
rivers like the Little Colorado River, will have high flow and may
exceed their banks later today.
