...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Arizona, including the following
  areas, Yavapai County Mountains and Yavapai County Valleys and
  Basins.

* WHEN...Through this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Flooding will be possible in creeks, normally dry
  washes, and swimming holes. Low-water crossings could also become
  flooded, which would create deadly travel conditions. Low-water
  crossings may be flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - A slow moving storm system will continue to bring periods of
    rain and a few thunderstorms through this afternoon.
    Additional heavy rainfall will lead to a threat of flooding.
  - Additional information is available at weather.gov/flagstaff.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
