...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 930 PM MST THIS EVENING...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Oak Creek from Sedona to Cornville.
* Until 930 PM MST.
* IMPACTS...Dangerous flooding over low-water crossings. Some
low-water crossings may become impassable.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 334 PM MST, a river gauge on Oak Creek at Sedona and
Cornville reported to around 5 to 6 feet from earlier heavy
rainfall. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional
rainfall is expected.
- For Oak Creek at Cornville:
At 3:00pm the stage was 6.25 feet and rising.
Flood Stage is 8.0 feet.
Forecast: A crest of 6.4 feet is expected by 4 to 5 PM
Sunday.
Impacts:
At 7.0 feet: Flooding begins to inundate lower terrace of RV
park upstream of Page Springs Road Bridge.
- For Oak Creek at Oak Creek at Sedona:
At 2:45pm the stage was 5.97 feet and falling.
Flood Stage is 14.0 feet.
Impacts:
At 5.0 feet: Multiple private low water crossings and bridges
over Oak Creek above Sedona become impassable.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
Low water crossings will become dangerous in heavy rain. Do not
attempt to cross flooded roads. Find an alternate route.
