.DISCUSSION...For this afternoon and this evening, there is 30% chance
for a line of showers and thunderstorms to pass the fire roughly
between 1600 and 1900 MST. There is also 30% chance of a second
line moving through overnight roughly between 0100 and 0300 MST.
If these storms due impact the fire, outflow wind gusts between
25-35 mph are possible. Otherwise, winds will be light and terrain
driven. Increasing monsoon moisture will lead to higher chances
for shower and thunderstorm activity Tuesday. Some storms will
produce heavy rainfall, so flash flooding and wind gusts to 30 mph
will be the primary hazards for any storms that do form in the
area. You will want to monitor for a northwest to north wind shift
tomorrow afternoon due to storms/outflows dropping of the Mogollon Rim
and moving across Yavapai County.
