.DISCUSSION...Deep monsoon moisture in place across northern Arizona
will bring widespread (80% chance) showers and thunderstorms to area
today and tonight. Flash flooding from heavy rain, lightning and
thunderstorm outflow wind gusts to 35 mph are the primary hazards.
On Thursday, the forecast calls for a 40% chance of afternoon showers
and thunderstorms. Ridge winds will generally blow from the south to
southeast between 5-10 mph, but expect erratic winds in the vicinity
of storms. A Flash Flood Watch is in effect for the area through
Thursday at 0500 MST.

Sky/weather.........Mostly cloudy with a 30% chance of showers and
                    thunderstorms in the morning, becoming an 80%
                    chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1100 MST.
