.DISCUSSION...No precipitation is expected today as much drier air
remains dominant. By late tomorrow, precipitation chances begin
to increase as a west coast low-pressure system combines with
enhanced moisture from a pair of tropical cyclones. We will only
see slight chances on Sunday afternoon, but precipitation chances
will continue to ramp up Sunday night into Monday morning. The
current forecast calls for continuous shower and thunderstorm
chances through Tuesday evening. There remains a degree of uncertainty
in the exact timing and rainfall amounts, however there is a high
likelihood in a return to shower and thunderstorm activity late
Sunday through Tuesday.
