.DISCUSSION...Near critical to critical fire weather conditions expected today
and Tuesday due to extremely dry conditions and elevated winds. Look for
southwest winds 5-15 mph, gusting near 25-30 mph this afternoon, becoming
more westerly on Tuesday with gusts near 35 mph. Winds Monday night into
Tuesday morning look to remain elevated out of the southwest near 10-15 mph.
Lighter winds look to return on Wednesday, but minimum RH values will remain
below 10% through the end of the week. Additional fire weather concerns
forecast towards the end of the week due to elevated winds returning.
