.DISCUSSION...Very warm weather and subdued convective behavior
continues for Saturday, but activity may increase for Sunday as
tropical moisture arrives from the south.

Thunderstorms today through tomorrow will generally stay tied to
higher elevations. Outflows and improved steering flow on Sunday
may allow for a higher threat of flooding to arrive for Sunday
afternoon. Activity looks to be mainly in the afternoon and early
evening hours. There is a not a strong nocturnal signal, like we
saw earlier this week and last weekend.

.SATURDAY...

Sky/weather.........Becoming partly cloudy. A slight chance
                    of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon.
Chance of pcpn......20 percent.
Chance lightning....0 percent increasing to 20 percent in the
                    afternoon.
Max temperature.....88 to 100.
Min humidity........20 percent (lower elevations) to
                    26 percent (higher elevations).
Wind (20 ft)........Variable winds 4 to 6 mph at the lower
                    elevations. Some higher elevations may mix out
                    to southwest 8 to 12 mph in the afternoon. Gusty
                    and erratic winds expected near thunderstorms.
Max Vent Rate.......Good.
Clearing Index......474.
Mixing height.......8900 ft AGL in the morning increasing to 12300
                    ft AGL late in the morning, then decreasing to
                    200 ft AGL late in the afternoon.
Transport winds.....North around 5 knots shifting to the southeast
                    late in the morning, then shifting to the west
                    early in the afternoon shifting to the north
                    late in the afternoon.

.SATURDAY NIGHT...

Sky/weather.........Partly cloudy. A slight chance of showers and
                    thunderstorms in the evening.
Chance of pcpn......10 percent.
Chance lightning....10 percent.
Min temperature.....Low temperatures will vary quite a bit. Some
                    lower elevations that have pesistent drainage
                    will be around 74 to 76 degrees, while upper
                    locations will be 55 to 60.
Max humidity........50 to 60 percent in lower, drainage wind affected
                    locations, to near 90 percent at the upper
                    elevations.
Wind (20 ft)........Light and variable winds 2 to 4 mph. Some areas
                    that drain to the south and east will experience
                    drainage winds as high as 10 mph. Gusty and erratic
                    winds expected near thunderstorms.
Min Vent Rate.......Poor.
Clearing Index......1.
Mixing height.......100 ft AGL.
Transport winds.....Northeast around 5 knots shifting to the north
                    overnight.

Sky/weather.........Becoming mostly cloudy. A chance of showers

Chance lightning....0 percent increasing to 50 percent in the
                    afternoon.

Min humidity........22 percent (lower elevations) to
                    28 to 30 percent (higher elevations).

                    winds expected near thunderstorms.
