...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT LOCATIONS ALONG I-17 BETWEEN
THE STATE ROUTE 179 EXIT AND STONEMAN LAKE EXIT  UNTIL 345 PM MST...

At 314 PM MST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Munds Mountain Wilderness, or 12 miles southeast of Sedona, moving
south at 5 mph.

HAZARD...Pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
  Wet Beaver Wilderness, Bell Crossing/The Crack, Munds Mountain
  Wilderness, Apache Maid Mountain, Village of Oak Creek and T-Bar
  Ranch.

This includes the following highways...
Interstate 17 between mile markers 298 and 316.
State Route 179 near mile marker 299.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.

Heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm resulting in
hazardous driving conditions on I-17. Slow down and drive with
caution.
