...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT YAVAPAI AND COCONINO COUNTIES
UNTIL 630 PM MST...

At 607 PM MST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Munds Mountain Wilderness, or 11 miles southeast of Sedona, moving
southwest at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
  Sedona, Bell Crossing/The Crack, Wet Beaver Creek Day Use Area,
  Wet Beaver Wilderness, Munds Mountain Wilderness, Village of Oak
  Creek, Bell Rock, Apache Maid Mountain, Cathedral Rock, Crane
  Petroglyph Heritage Site, Lawrence Crossing, T-Bar Ranch and Red
  Rock State Park.

This includes the following highways...
Interstate 17 between mile markers 298 and 313.
State Route 179 between mile markers 299 and 312.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
