...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT I-40 NEAR METEOR CRATER UNTIL 3
PM MST /4 PM MDT/...

At 247 PM MST /347 PM MDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a strong
thunderstorm near Meteor Crater Rest Area, or 15 miles west of
Winslow, moving south at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
  Meteor Crater Rest Area, Meteor Crater, Meteor City.

This includes the following highways...
Interstate 40 between mile markers 232 and 244.
State Route 99 between mile markers 54 and 57.
