The National Weather Service in Flagstaff has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Yavapai County in west central Arizona...

* Until 430 PM MST.

* At 357 PM MST, a severe thunderstorm was located over over
  Interstate 17 north of Rimrock, or 12 miles southeast of Sedona.
  This storm was stationary.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
           roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Bell Crossing/The Crack, Wet Beaver Creek Day Use Area, Wet Beaver
  Wilderness, Munds Mountain Wilderness and Crane Petroglyph Heritage
  Site.

This includes the following highways...
Interstate 17 between mile markers 298 and 309. State Route 179
between mile markers 299 and 300.

This includes the following recreation areas and campgrounds...
Wet Beaver Creek Campground.

This includes the following swimming holes...
Wet Beaver Creek Day Use Area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds and
large hail.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
