The National Weather Service in Flagstaff has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Gila County in east central Arizona...

* Until 415 PM MST.

* At 340 PM MST, a severe thunderstorm was located 6 miles east of
  Buck Mountain, or 32 miles southeast of Payson, moving southwest
  at 20 mph. This will impact the Billy Wildfire located in the
  Sierra Ancha Wilderness.

  HAZARD...Quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Damage to vehicles is expected.

* Locations impacted include...
  Buck Mountain, Buck Peak, Pendleton Mesa and Sierra Ancha
  Wilderness.

This includes State Route 288 between mile markers 274 and 298.

This includes the following recreation areas and campgrounds...
Rose Creek Campground, Reynolds Creek Group Campground, Reynolds
Creek Campground and Rose Creek Campground.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing large hail.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning is one of nature`s leading killers. Remember, if you can
hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
