  James River above Yankton affecting Yankton County.

  James River near Mitchell affecting Davison and Hanson Counties.

  James River near Scotland affecting Yankton, Bon Homme and
  Hutchinson Counties.

  Vermillion River near Vermillion affecting Clay County.

  West Fork Vermillion River Near Parker affecting Turner County.

  Vermillion River near Wakonda affecting Clay County.

  Vermillion River near Davis affecting Lincoln and Turner Counties.

  Vermillion River near Chancellor affecting Turner County.

  Turkey Ridge Creek near Centerville affecting Turner County.

...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in South
Dakota...

  Firesteel Creek near Mount Vernon affecting Davison County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...Vermillion River near Vermillion.

* WHEN...Until late Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 30.0 feet, Water reaches the bottom deck of the
  railroad bridge west of Vermillion. Flood waters are 10 feet deep
  in some farm houses, and the terminal grain corporation is flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 11:15 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 29.8 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 11:15 AM CDT Wednesday was 31.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    late Saturday morning and continue falling to 12.1 feet

  begins. Also 280th Street between 459th and 460th Avenue is
  flooded.

  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 7:00 AM CDT Wednesday was 15.2 feet.
