Dakota...Iowa...

  Vermillion River near Davis affecting Lincoln and Turner Counties.

  Little Sioux River At Linn Grove affecting Clay, Cherokee, Buena
  Vista and O`Brien Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor to moderate flooding
  is forecast.

* WHERE...Vermillion River near Davis.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Moderate flooding of agricultural land
  begins.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:45 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 11.5 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 7:45 AM CDT Thursday was 11.8 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected fall today before rising
    again later this week to a crest around 13.0 feet Monday
    evening. This forecast will be heavily impacted by how much
    rain eventually falls.
  - Flood stage is 11.0 feet.

  - At 10:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 16.8 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 17.9
    feet Saturday morning. This forecast will be heavily impacted
    by how much rain eventually falls.
  - Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
