.DISCUSSION...
A foggy morning wjill give way to partial sunshine midday, but
clouds increase again from the south through the afternoon with
showers possible south of roughly Vermillion SD to Spencer IA
into this evening.

The transition to October will bring generally drier weather to
the region, though a chance of light showers will swing through
parts of the area on Saturday. Temperatures from Thursday onward
will favor near to below normal readings during the day, but may
hold slightly above normal at night with no threat of frost in
the next several days.
