Today begins with low level stratus along with light mist beneath the stratus. Light mist looks to continue through at least mid morning before the stratus begins to lift. At this time, the stratus looks to persist into the afternoon hours but should break up enough to allow for some sunshine to return. High temperatures could warm to the mid to upper 70s though this will be dependent on the extent of sunshine that is able to return. Humidity will be high regardless with humidity values only falling to around 60%. Mixed layers will be relatively shallow, only rising to between 2,000ft to 3,000ft. With a shallow mixed layer in place, winds will remain light at 5-10 mph with an occasional gust up to about 10-15 mph.
