.DISCUSSION...

Expect showers and storms to push eastward across the region today
and continue through Friday. A few storms could become strong to
severe this afternoon, with gusts up to 60 MPH and quarter size
hail being the primary hazards in addition to lightning and brief
heavy downpours. S/SE winds during this time will remain fairly
breezy, with gusts up to 30 MPH possible. Should see breezy
conditions taper off this evening, allowing light and somewhat
variable winds to prevail heading into Friday. Temperatures in
the 70s today and Friday, but with showers and storms as well as
increasing humidity, minimum RH values above 50% expected.
