This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for southwest Minnesota and east
central South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Rain will will continue through late this evening. A transition to
sleet and then mainly snow is expected around midnight to very early
morning, with light snow accumulation possible into Tuesday morning.

Snowfall amounts up to an inch or two are possible, especially in
higher elevations of the Buffalo Ridge north of Highway
30 (Pipestone to Slayton) in southwest Minnesota. If temperatures
cool a degree or two more than forecast, accumulations could
increase, so please continue to monitor forecast updates throughout
the day.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Light snow will linger in parts of southwest Minnesota through the
Tuesday morning commute. Little additional accumulation is expected
after daybreak Tuesday, but wintry travel is possible Tuesday
morning.

Iowa, southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska, central South
Dakota, east central South Dakota, south central South Dakota and
southeast South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Light rain continues overnight into Tuesday morning. Rain may
occasionally mix with sleet to light snow tonight, but little if any
snow accumulation is expected.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.
