Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will continue from the James River Valley and westward overnight. Severe storms are unlikely. A low to moderate (20-40%) chance for rainfall amounts exceeding 1 inch tonight over south central South Dakota into northeast Nebraska. There is some uncertainty on the track of the storm system, and this will impact where the highest amounts fall. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday. Periods of scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue through the holiday weekend, with the highest chances during the afternoon to early evening each day. The risk for severe weather remains low, but isolated weak funnels will again be possible with developing showers Saturday afternoon. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
