This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Iowa, west central
Iowa, southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska, central South
Dakota, east central South Dakota, south central South Dakota and
southeast South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Rain and thunderstorms chances today through Thursday. Heavy
rainfall rates pose increased risks of urban and small stream flash
flooding. Rises on area rivers are also possible. Total rainfall
today through Thursday of 1-3 inches, with isolated areas of 3-5
inches possible. Pockets of higher totals are also possible.

Isolated strong to severe storms are possible tonight with the
greatest threats being wind gusts to 60 mph, large hail, and possibly
a tornado. This is in addition to very heavy rainfall at times.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Showers taper off through Thursday afternoon.

Dry weather Friday and Saturday before the return of showers and
thunderstorms Sunday.
