A wintry mix of precipitation will move through the outlook area today with the heaviest precipitation focused around the middle of the day. Accumulations of 1-3 inches will be possible in far eastern South Dakota, southwest Minnesota and northwest Iowa. Ice accumulations of of one tenth of an inch along with minor sleet accumulations may also be possible at times. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday. Another round of light snow will move through the Missouri River valley on Saturday. While uncertainty remains on the exact track of snow, accumulations of a 1-3 inches will be possible. Dangerously cold wind chills will settle into the region for the upcoming weekend. Daytime wind chills on Saturday may fall as low as 10 to 20 below zero. Wind chills Sunday will range from 15 to 30 below zero. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Very light wintry mix of precipitation will move through areas mostly north and east of the Missouri River during the first half of the day. However, a very light glaze of ice or sleet will be possible. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday. Another round of light snow will move through the Missouri River Valley on Saturday. While uncertainty remains on the exact track of snow, accumulations of a dusting to 3 inches will be possible. Dangerously cold wind chills will settle into the region for the upcoming weekend.
