Heavy rain and thunderstorms will be moving into the Highway 20 corridor through the early morning hours, with a lighter and steadier rain (with some thunder) continuing farther north. All this activity will gradually push to the east and taper off through the daytime morning hours. Low clouds will help keep relative humidity values in the 60-90% range even during the afternoon and thus the fire danger will be low today. Winds will be out of the east-northeast throughout the day, gusting to about 25 mph at times. Periodic shower and storms chances look to continue through Saturday before drying out by Sunday.
