439 FNUS63 KFSD 100911 RFDFSD Rangeland Fire Danger Statement National Weather Service Sioux Falls SD 411 AM CDT Fri Jul 10 2026 .DISCUSSION... Isolated showers and storms are possible along the US Hwy 14 corridor this morning. Otherwise, additional isolated to scattered showers and storms may develop later this afternoon through this evening. Temperatures today in the mid 80s to mid 90s. Dry conditions are expected this weekend through at least early next week. Much warmer temperatures are also anticipated, with daily highs in the 90s to lower 100s. By Monday, RH values may fall below 30% west of the James River into portions of the MO River Valley. Extended hot and dry weather could lead to locally elevated fire concerns, especially in areas which have not seen significant recent precipitation. OUTLOOK FOR SATURDAY AFTERNOON...The Grassland Fire Danger Index will reach the low category. The grassland fire danger product reflects fire danger for native grasses.
