Heat and humidity continue today with additional scattered showers and storms which may produce locally heavy rain. Rain chances continue tonight and again Tuesday. Near to above average temperatures remain in place through the work week. Dry conditions return mid week, but recent rainfall should preclude any widespread issues. Any outdoor burning should be closely monitored. OUTLOOK FOR TUESDAY AFTERNOON...The Grassland Fire Danger Index will reach the low category. The grassland fire danger product reflects fire danger for native grasses.
